The Museum's summer Living History event, Living the Past on the Rio Grande, is held on the second Saturday of June in and around the Museum's courtyard area.

Reenactors in period costumes will demonstrate the skills, foods, and everyday customs of the Mountain Men and early Western pioneers of this region.

Horno - is an adobe-built outdoor oven used by Native Americans.
